Collegiate Governance Bodies

School Board

This body serves as the School's governing entity and highest representation, ensuring the center's compliance with current regulations and the UPC Statutes.

Permanent Commission

As the executive and enduring representative body of the School Board, it oversees the School's day-to-day operations, including academic organization and the formulation of regulations, budgets, etc.

Academic Evaluation Committee

Tasked with upholding the quality of education at the School, this committee evaluates teaching activities within departments and the instructional efforts of faculty assigned to the ETSAB.

 

Collegiate deliberative or consultative bodies

School Commission - Departments

Facilitating communication between School Management and various departments or sections within the ETSAB.

Studies and Quality Committee

Advising management and the School Board on matters concerning offered courses, ensuring their proper functioning and quality of instruction, and coordinating vertically and horizontally between different studies in alignment with course coordinators. Multiple study commissions may exist corresponding to ETSAB degrees. Additionally, this committee oversees the continuity, adequacy, and effectiveness of the ETSAB's internal quality assurance system  (SGIQ)

 

Other Deliberative or Advisory Committees

Library Committee

Responsible for advising management, the School Board, and the Permanent Commission on the management, acquisition, and dissemination of library and archival collections at the ETSAB and its departments.

ICT Commission

Providing advice to management, the School Board, and the Permanent Commission on appropriate ICT services and equipment for effective teaching, research, and management at the ETSAB.

Validation and Recognition Commission

It is the body responsible for making proposals to the management regarding the admission of students through transfer or partial validation of foreign studies. Likewise, it submits to the UPC the proposal for recognition and validation of subjects from other undergraduate university studies, resolves the recognition of master's degree university studies, as well as the academic recognition of credits for work and professional experience.

Curricular Block Comissions

Authorized to conduct curricular evaluations and monitor student performance at the School, with a commission for each defined block in the study plan.

Curriculum Committee

A consultative body advising management, the School Board, and the Permanent Commission on defining and implementing new study plans, with a drafting subcommittee serving as a spokesperson.

ETSAB Board of Trustees

A collegiate body fostering connections between society and the School.
