- If you have to carry out legalization procedures, we can provide you with a document called Certificate of degree in process, which replaces the final Degree and can have effects outside of Spain. You can request it through the e-Secretaria student portal (Procedures menu).
- The final oficial Degree may take around a year and a half to be issued. When it's available, you will receive a message to the email that appears on your file.
Collecting or sending the degree
Only the holder can collect his/her degree in person from our offices. In case of impossibility, the holder must grant a notarized authorization (power of attorney -which must be duly legalized if it's issued outside of Spain) to a third person. It's important that the power of attorney is broad, in case the legalization of the degree is also needed (when it must have effects outside Spanish territory).
You can also ask for the degree to be sent to the Delegación del Gobierno, Subdelegación del Gobierno or Dirección Provincial de Educación en Ceuta y Melilla if you don't reside in the Barcelona province; or at the Spanish Diplomatic or Consular Representation closest to your adress, if you're abroad. You can apply through the e-Secretaria student portal.
