New students
Enrollment procedure
After admission, contact us to apply for your doctoral enrollment.
Use 
for request your enrollment and send us the following documents:
- Copy of your ID in force (National Identity Document-DNI, Passport, Foreigner Identification Number-NIE, or other valid identity document if you are from a country within the European Union).
- One of the following two models of commitment document
- A Commitment document between doctoral student and thesis supervisor from UPC [CDDT] (signed both by the doctoral student and her/his supervisors) OR
- A Commitment document between doctoral student and external thesis supervisor [CDDT+DDTE] if you have a supervisor from UPC and another one external to UPC (signed both by the doctoral student and her/his supervisors). Retired professors from UPC are considered external
(Be sure to indicate in the CDDT if you are a part-time o full-time student, as agreed with your supervisor).
- Any document that proves that you are exempt from the enrolment fee or that you are entitled to a discount on enrolment.
Enrollment dates course 2022-2023
From 4th to 7th October 2022
Complementary courses. If a doctoral student must attend additional courses (in masters’ subjects), he/she must to enroll during the period of enrollment for the master program.
Documents to be delivered at the time of enrollment
You will have to come to our Doctorate Office and show us all the original documents indicated below:
- Bachelor's and Master's degrees allowing access to the doctorate
- Academic transcripts (courses taken and marks obtained)
- ID in force (National Identity Document-DNI, Passport, Foreigner Identification Number-NIE, or other valid identity document if you are from a country within the European Union).
Original or certified copies, legalised and translated if the documents have been issued out of the European Union. See the section on legalisation of documents and qualifications.
It will not be necessary to provide any document of degrees obtained at the UPC.
Important: you will not can to obtain the doctor degree without having provided the indicated documentation.
